My Story
I used to go to main street salons. Like everyone else, I queued for hours to get my walk-in appointment and paid for plain shellac manicures which only lasted a few days.
I struggled to visit reputable salons due to my work hours and cost - except for very special occasions.
The last straw for me was when I went to a local salon to remove my lovely wedding manicure.
They didn't listen to me when I told them about the materials on my nails and how to remove them. They over-filed my nails so badly, it made them sore to touch. They made my fingers bleed.
They then badmouthed the excellent nail technician who did my original wedding manicure, and
persuaded me that my nails were so badly damaged, that I will have to book in for multiple appointments to "fix it".
2 weeks later I spent over £100 on 4 lumpy gel manicures, each of which only lasted a few days. They were so bad I was embarrassed to show off my new wedding ring.
That's when I decided to try doing my own nails. Turns out - I LOVE IT! It truly inspired me and did wonders for my mental health. A year later, in 2024, I took the plunge and completed my Nail Technicians Certification.
I built my business around providing a BETTER service.

I prioritise You
Not all salons are created equal! The sad truth is, that this is NOT a regulated industry. This means that it is easy to prioritise footfall over the client's health. Salons often limit their nail technicians to working with products and tools they provided. BANNED materials are still routinely used. Ever heard of MMA? It is a compound used in cheap acrylics which can cause allergic reactions and breathing difficulties. MMA acrylics are so hard, they will take your entire nail with them when they break. Look it up if you are brave enough.
I care about Your health. None of my products contain MMA. In fact, I don't use acrylics at all! This means my mobile service clients will never have their home smelling like a salon.
My business relies on repeat customers. I do not take walk-ins. I buy my own products. I set my own high standards of service, therefore I am free to prioritise YOU.
I prioritise your Health and Safety
The legal guidelines advise sanitising tools between appointments. For things like nail files, that often means a mere spray of a desinfectant.
I go above and beyond this guidelines. For each of my clients, I use a freshly sealed pouch of tools which have been sanitised and sterilised in high temperatures.
In addition to that, for each appointment I use brand new nail files which you are free to keep. You can rest assured - I take your safety seriously.

I only use well known, reputable brands which only sell their stock directly to qualified professionals.
I did a lot of research before investing in my kit.
I am confident that my products are safe and comply with UK regulations. I am also confident that they are genuine - something that is increasingly becoming an issue in the nails industry.

My services are Flexible and Convenient
I offer a wide selection of appointment times, including weekend and evening slots. You can also choose if you would like to come to my home salon, or if you would prefer that I visit you in your own home.
I understand that home commitments, especially pets and kids can make it difficult to find a good time for some self care. If you wish to keep an eye on them during your at-home appointment, that is absolutely fine with me. Just let me know in advance and I can schedule in some extra time for any breaks needed!
