Terms and Conditions
This website is used for information services only regarding services provided by EC Gel Nails. EC Gel Nails retains ownership of the information published and services offered.
EC Gel Nails retains full control over the pricing of services as well as types of services provided and retains the authority to change or vary these in the future, including but not limited to the cost of the services.
Payment policy
By booking services with EC Gel nails the Client agrees to pay in full for the services provided. Cash and bank transfer payments are accepted, and are to be paid in full upon the completion of the appointment.
The costs of services may be subject to time-limited promotions in which case the client agrees to pay the amount specified in the promotion.
Cancellations policy
EC Gel nails are currently not taking deposits to reserve time slots for their services. The clients are, however, asked to provide at least 48 hours of notice should a cancellation or rescheduling of the appointment be needed. EC Gel Nails on their part agree to exert their best effort to inform their clients at least 48 hours in advance of their appointment should they need to cancel on the service provider's end.
Should a client fail to inform EC Gel Nails of a cancellation and appear to a scheduled appointment, or fail to inform EC Gel Nails 48 hours in advance, EC Gel Nails retains the right to refuse any further service to said client. This is subject to discretion of EC Gel Nails, particularly in regards to the circumstances which led to the Client's failure to notify.
Refunds policy
EC Gel nails does not provide refunds for services carried out. EC Gel Nails retains the right to issue a refund depending on their discretion in exceptional circumstances only.
Repairs policy
EC Gel Nails offers a 7 day free repair service of 1 free fix per 1 service purchased. This applies to issues encountered by a client with any service provided which are not a result of the client's own actions. Examples of issues include but are not limited to: gel polish lifting or chipping in absence of heavy use, gel extensions failing to retain adhesion. Examples where 7 day repair service would not be applicable include: accidents or trauma suffered by the client outside of the appointment window, heavy use of hands without adequate protection (e.g. wearing gloves), alterations attempted by the client themselves (e.g. removal, filing, painting), conscious destructive habits (e.g. nail biting), the client changing their mind (e.g. confirming satisfaction with the product during or after the appointment, to later contact EC Gel Nails to inform they would prefer a different colour), and similar. The 7 day repair service is subject to client's compliance with aftercare measures recommended by EC Gel Nails. EC Gel Nails retains the right to exercise their own discretion when applying the 7 day free repair service. EC Gel Nails will further strive to schedule the repair service at the earliest convenience of both the service provider and the client - this does not imply it must be carried out within 7 days of the initial appointment.
Acceptable Behaviour Policy
EC Gel Nails are obliged to carry out their service to the highest standard of professionalism and care. EC Gel Nails therefore expects their clients to exhibit respectful and acceptable behaviour towards the service provider and their property/equipment. Unacceptable behaviour towards the service provider will not be tolerated. Unacceptable behaviour includes but is not limited to: verbally or physically abusive or threatening behaviour, wilful interference with services provided, damage to property or equipment, bullying and harassment, failure to comply with the T&C's (e.g. malicious or routine failure to notify EC Gel Nails of appointment cancellations). EC reserves the right to stop and refuse service on the grounds of unacceptable behaviour to any client, regardless of whether or not the said behaviour was exhibited during or outside of appoitment time. EC Gel Nails reserves the right to take any statutory measures necessary to recover any damage or loss suffered as a result of unacceptable behaviour by the client.
Right to a Safe Workplace
EC Gel Nails has a right to a safe workplace. This extends to instances where mobile services are provided within a client's home address. EC Gel Nails therefore reserves the right to stop and refuse service should the environment of work be deemed unsafe. When booking mobile services the client agrees to ensure the working environment complies with basic health and safety standards, and all third parties present within the working environment are compliant with the Acceptable Behaviour Policy. Examples of the application of this policy include but are not limited to: the workspace area having safe, professionally installed electrical outlets, being free of pests and biohazards, any animals or children on the premises being under control as to not interfere with services provided. The client may be legally liable to cover any loss or damage suffered as a result of the working environment being or becoming unsafe throughout the duration of the appointment. EC Gel Nails may not be deemed liable for any loss or damage suffered throughout the duration of the appointment if this damage occurs due to the client failing to provide a safe workspace. EC Gel Nails further retains the right to refuse clients' access to the 7 day Repairs policy should the services provided by EC Gel Nails be subject to interference due to the client failing to provide a safe workspace.
Personal data
Any personal data provided to EC Gel Nails by the client will be used by EC Gel Nails solely and exclusively to provide their services and associated actions (e.g. online payments, managing bookings etc).
EC Gel Nails does not use personal data for marketing purposes and does not share this data to with 3rd parties. Personal data of the clients (e.g. paper client cards used during the appointments) will be destroyed 6-12 months after the last contact between the said client and EC Gel nails unless the client specifically agrees to the retention of this data.
EC Gel Nails retains the right to change their T&C documents at any point in time.
